We currently have openings for energetic, sales professionals with a demonstrated passion for plants. Our Inside Sales program consists of three stages: Hands-on Nursery Work (for 6 months, depending upon the skill, knowledge, and experience you bring to the position), Inside Sales Representative (three to five years), and Outside Sales Representative.

While you are performing the hands-on nursery work, you will be exposed to various processes throughout the nursery and will be earning a competitive hourly wage. When you become an Inside Sales Rep, in addition to earning the hourly wage you will also be eligible to participate in our incentive program. As an Outside Sales Rep, you will move on to a commission structure with a potential for earning and excellent income.

Qualifications:

• Either a horticultural background and/or degree or extensive sales experience (ideally both)
• Background in retail and/or marketing is preferred
• Self-motivated and self-disciplined

Position Summary

We have an immediate opening for a self-driven, energetic Production Nursery Irrigator. Candidate will operate our Automated Irrigation System in conjunction with ground and surface agriculture water. Candidate will schedule watering cycles and verify correct applications for our customers, including Plant Health Personnel and Growers. Right candidate will diagnose, remediate and recommend preventative and corrective measures in the operation of this critical plant growth process. This is a great opportunity for a qualified candidate who enjoys plants and technology related to growing the best Woody Ornamentals in the industry!

Key duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Minimum of a H.S. diploma
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience working in agricultural irrigation or equivalent.
• Knowledge and ability to operate an automated irrigation system.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Basic knowledge of the nursery industry is highly desirable
• Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus

Position Summary

We have an immediate opening for a self-driven, energetic Production Equipment Maintenance Mechanic. Ideal candidate will install, repair and maintain various production machines. Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of proactive maintenance techniques and preventative maintenance procedures. Right candidate will diagnose and remediate break downs and recommend preventative and curative measures to avoid lost production time. Candidate must be able to work in a fast pace environment with minimal supervision.

Key duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Minimum of a H.S. Diploma
• Minimum of Six (6) years' experience working in a shop repairing various production related machines or who has worked in a production facility as a Maintenance Mechanic. Certification(s) in one or more of the following specialties:
  • Pneumatics
  • Hydraulics
  • Mechanics
  • Welding
  • Mill Wright, and or
  • Engineering
• Knowledge and ability to read blue prints and service manuals
• Basic electrical & control knowledge ( PLC's and VFD's a plus)
• Knowledge and adherence to all safety practices including Lock out-Tag out Procedures
• Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus
