The New Monrovia Boutique at SummerWinds Garden Centers
CAMPBELL, Calif. - March 6, 2008 - Shopping for plants just got a lot more fun for Bay-area gardeners. Monrovia, one of the leading growers of premium plants, has teamed up with SummerWinds Garden Centers to feature a new retail concept called the Monrovia Boutique. All six California locations, Campbell, Cupertino, San Jose, Mountain View, Palo Alto and Sunnyvale will offer the new displays in various sizes and formats.
The Boutique is a large area located within the SummerWinds Nurseries, ranging from 1,200 to 1,800 square feet, dedicated to Monrovia plants. These eye-catching displays feature an extensive variety of Monrovia plants and outdoor living products. The Boutique is arranged to provide ideas on ways to combine plants, create interesting containers, arrange an outdoor living space and identify great specimen plants. New varieties of plants will be brought in routinely to maintain interest and inspire, offering themes such as Cottage, Classic and Tropical.
"If you've ever been frustrated when trying to find a specific Monrovia plant, those days are gone. You'll see a wide variety of our plants in one spot, " explained Bob Smiland of Monrovia. "It's sort of like going into a department store, where you can find clothes of a specific designer in one area. It's a natural way to shop for your favorite brands."
