Monrovia Growers has introduced a Holiday Collection of premium plants that will arrive at the garden centers in gift-ready condition. Winter favorites such as Holly, Juniper and Spruce will be shipped in European handcrafted ceramic pots of either a modern silver or traditional gold and adorned with a gift tag that offers care tips for the plant. "But it's not just typical holiday plant offerings. This collection features a wide range of plants, from Camellias and Snowberries to Yucca and Ponytail Ferns," explained Bob Smiland, chief sales and marketing officer.
"We understand that the winter holidays has become a huge selling opportunity for garden centers, and we want to make it easy for them to offer stylish and distinctive options for their customers." Each shipping box contains six #1 or six LitttleOne™ (quart sized) plants in the decorative container with gift tag. Larger companion plants in #2 and #5 sizes round out the collection and arrive with an idea-filled guide for holiday entertaining and decorating. The Holiday Collection will begin shipping October 15. Festive point-of-sale posters are included with all orders to help generate excitement in the store."
