“LOUISVILLE, KY (November 9, 2007) – A Louisville landscaping contractor, Ray Daniel, is the winner of a Toro(R) Dingo(R) TX 420 compact utility loader, awarded by Monrovia Growers in a sweepstakes that launched last summer at the Penn Allied tradeshow in Atlantic City, and continued through the fall at various industry shows, such as the SNA show in Atlanta, the TNLA in Dallas, the FarWest in Portland and the Garden Market Expo in Las Vegas, and at rewholesalers nationwide.

“This is sure a fun phone call to get, “said Daniel upon learning that he was the grand prize winner of the loader and four attachments, including a bucket, adjustable forks, tree forks and leveler. “This will make my job so much easier. I can’t wait to try it. I have always wanted a Toro Dingo.” Daniel, who has been a landscape contractor for 12 years, presently works for the landscape division of Spruce Hill Nursery.

“That is exactly what we wanted to do with this promotion – make someone’s job a little easier,” explained Bob Smiland, chief sales and marketing officer for Monrovia. “Landscape professionals who purchase our plants are valued customers of our nationwide network of rewholesale partners, and Monrovia is always looking for ways show our commitment to them. Being that the Toro Dingo is a premium product, and Monrovia sells premium plants – it’s a perfect match.”

The Dingo TX 420 tracked loader is a compact hydraulic power plant ideal for applications such as tree planting, material hauling and handling, preparing seedbeds, constructing decks and fences and installing irrigation systems. By using the Toro Dingo loader with any of its 35-plus attachments, landscape professionals can complete work more productively and profitably by maximizing manpower, minimizing hand labor, and finishing jobs faster.”
