Homeowners Paul and Paul have lived in their 100-year-old, historic home for nine years. They love to garden and have a large backyard but it still remains mostly unused. The problem is that they don't know how to make it one cohesive space in relation to the house. They lack the design to make it all work. Jamie comes to have a look at the property in person and meet Paul and Paul. After meeting them and seeing the property Jamie decides that Boston, MA would be the perfect place to visit for inspiration. He returns from his trip with a Boston inspired design to show that includes meandering pathways, a dining area built around a tree and arbor screening the garden. Jennifer and Scott are a very busy, young couple that have spent the past six years restoring their California bungalow home. The problem is that their home ends at their backdoor. Jen is talented cook and a vegetarian. They are eco friendly and want a sustainable, modern yard where they can eat what they grow. Jamie meets with them and tells them that he knows of a fantastic edible garden in Atlanta, GA. Jamie heads to Atlanta in search of inspiration for his design. He returns from his trip with an Atlanta inspired design full of edible plants and a gorgeous dining pergola surrounded by vertical gardens.
