Sparkler® Willow-Leaf Stachyurus

Visit Windcliff, the Pacific Northwest garden of plant explorer Daniel J. Hinkley, accompanied by Monrovia’s Nicholas Staddon. In this segment, they observe Dan’s original selection of Willow-Leaf Stachyrus (Stachyrus salicifolia ‘MonEmeri’), considered one of the finest late winter flowering shrubs for temperate climates. Gracefully arching branches with finely textured, almost bamboo-like, semi-evergreen leaves are covered in spring with long chains of yellow flowers, creating a breathtaking display.
