OVERVIEW
Description A ground-hugging mound that is truly mop-like, with stringy leaves that color best in full sun. A superior accent to add contrast to dwarf green conifer plantings. Tailored to rock gardens and slope plantings as well as Asian garden schemes. Evergreen.

Care Provide enriched, slightly acidic, evenly moist, well-drained soil; avoid wet, poorly drained soils or prolonged drought. Shelter from drying winds. Water deeply, regularly during first few growing seasons to develop an extensive root system. Fertilize in early spring. Prune only lightly to shape; remove no more than current season's growth.
