Care Information
Prefers well-drained soils but is extremely adaptable to other soil types. Pruning is best done immediately after flowering; little pruning is needed. Fertilize in early spring with a slow release fertilizer specialized for trees & shrubs. This is a slow growing plant and may need a year in the landscape before it grows noticeably.
Design Ideas
Use in shrub borders, grouping, masses, as a specimen or in containers (plant in ground in spring). Very nice along walkways or other narrow sites.
