    Requires well drained soil. Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. Watering may be reduced after establishment. Cut back and feed with a general purpose fertilizer before new growth begins in spring. Blooms on new wood; shear spent flowers for repeat flowering.

    History:
    'Montrose White' was obtained from Nancy Goodwin at Montrose Nursery. Observing its outstanding characteristics, Mike Yanny of Johnson's Nursery in Wisconsin obtained permission to name and patent this Calamint as 'Montrose White'. The plant was named 2010 'Wisconsin Perennial of the Year' for its improved habit and flower qualities.
