A perfect side or backyard privacy screen to block off RVs drying yards, utility areas and undesirable land uses. Great plant for hiding swimming pool safety fencing, particularly chain link. Use as an evergreen background plant for more high profile tropicals or perennials or back of a shrub border. Plant around patios and prune for enclosure and light filtered shade at maturity. Makes a good warm climate topiary specimen.

Foliage Color Variegated
Companion Plants Crape Myrtle (Lagerstroemia); Creeping Fig (Ficus pumila); African Daisy (Osteospermum); Loropetalum (Loropetalum); Rose (Rosa)
CARE
Care Prefers slightly acidic, well-drained soils, rich in organic matter. Water deeply, regularly during first growing season to establish an extensive root system; reduce frequency once established. Apply fertilizer before new growth begins in spring. Prune only as needed to maintain desired shape; as a topiary, prune regularly to maintain form.
