We'd love you to join our mission in beautifying the North American landscape - one premium plant at a time. To get started, please fill out our new retailer application. We will be in touch shortly after we receive your information. Or, you can call Monrovia at 800-666-0111, extension 2239. Can you ship outside of North America? No. Monrovia is a wholesale grower and sells throughout the United States and Canada. Unfortunately, we cannot ship plants outside of North America. May I have a price list?We no longer print an annual price list. If you are an existing Monrovia customer, you can access pricing and availability via Garden Gateway. If you aren't already a customer, please fill out our new retailer application. Once we set up your account, we will mail a catalog to you. I'd like to carry your soil line. What are your minimums? The minimum order in all markets is 6 pallets.. Additionally, all fertilizers must ship with soil orders. Please note: a credit application and a resale card (where appropriate) must be on file before orders ship. What are your plant minimums? In order to help keep our prices low, we have established the following minimum quantities of any one variety.
What are your order minimums?Minimum orders of containers from West Coast nursery locations are $3,000 west of the Mississippi River and $3,750 east of the Mississippi River. Minimum orders on Monrovia trucks vary according to the point of origin and the distance shipped:
Minimum orders of containers from Cairo, Georgia are: $1,500 to locations within 550 miles; $2,000 to locations outside a 550-mile radius; $4,000 for shipments to Canada. Minimum orders of containers from La Grange, North Carolina are: $1,250 to locations within 200 miles; $2,000 to locations beyond a 200-mile radius; $3,000 for shipments to Canada. First, you may look it up in Monrovia's Garden Gateway - our secure, online portal to all of your account information - where you can instantly access current product availability from all Monrovia nurseries, retrieve details on confirmed plant balances, track unshipped and shipped orders, and view financial information such as invoices, payments and retail pricing. Or, your second option is to contact your Monrovia Sales Craftsman who can get you a copy of your order. Do you supply to Home Depot or Lowe's?No. Monrovia does not sell to large discount chains. We know that independent garden centers offer better service, have vast plant knowledge and provide exceptional plant care. This is just what's needed to help Monrovia's plants thrive and to give gardeners the confidence and support they deserve. What is the volume and weight of your growing containers?

(Please note: we cannot provide our entire photo library to populate your online database.) I have a great plant Monrovia should grow. Are you interested? We may be! Please send a short description and photo to our New Plants Team. We'll let you know if your plant has the potential to join some of the hundreds of exclusive Monrovia plants we've introduced over the years. Can I grow your patented plant at my nursery outside of the United States?Yes. We do license Monrovia plants abroad. Please contact Lillian Dixson, Intellectual Property and Contracts Administration at Monrovia, for details. Can I tour a Monrovia nursery?Yes. Your Monrovia Sales Craftsman can help you arrange a tour. Please contact him or her directly. Do you have a recycling program for plastic pots? No. We do not collect used Monrovia containers from garden centers for both logistic and sanitary reasons. Often, we use common carrier trucks throughout most of the United States and they do not return to our nursery after delivering plants. Additionally, due to pest and disease issues such as the Mediterranean fruit fly, the glassy-wing sharpshooter, fire ants, and sudden oak death, it is not viable to bring the containers back on to the nursery grounds; the resources and chemicals needed to disinfect the pots would offset the potential benefits. Can my customers recycle their Monrovia pots?We are working to make our green Monrovia pots fully recyclable; presently about 70 percent of our pots can be recycled. If you're not familiar with what can or cannot be recycled, simply turn the pot over and look for a number surrounded by a recycling symbol (known as a resin identification code). Our recyclable pots are made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and are designated #2 HDPE. Most recycling facilities accept these plant pots, as #2 HDPE is the most-often recycled plastic in the United States - the same plastic used to make milk jugs and household laundry and dishwashing detergent bottles. To find out which plastics are accepted in your local area, contact your community's solid waste department. What is Garden Gateway?Garden Gateway is Monrovia's secure, online portal to all of your account information - where you can instantly access current product availability from all Monrovia nurseries, retrieve details on confirmed plant balances, track unshipped and shipped orders, and view financial information such as invoices, payments and retail pricing. To get started today with Garden Gateway, contact your Monrovia Sales Craftsman who will provide you with a username and password. I have forgotten my username and password for my Garden Gateway login. How can I retrieve it?Please contact your Monrovia Sales Craftsman; he or she will assist you in retrieving your login information. I need to change our password for security reasons. How do I do that?If we have your email on file, you may click on the "I forgot my Password" link to reset your password, or you can contact your Monrovia Sales Craftsman; he or she can assist you in changing your login information. Can I establish a link to Monrovia.com on my website?Yes. You may to link to Monrovia.com from your website or blog. If you would like to use a graphic element instead of a text link, please download one of the icons below. Can I use the online Monrovia Plant Catalog to populate my garden center website's plant database?Unfortunately, we cannot provide our entire photo library to populate your online database. We allow limited usage of our photos. They can only be used online to promote select, seasonal Monrovia plants that you are selling at your garden center. Please contact your Monrovia Sales Craftsman for further information. I have put my garden center's zip code in the garden center locator and other garden centers are coming up first. Why isn't my site coming up higher in order? The purpose of the garden center locator is two-fold; first, it is designed to highlight the retailers that help make the Monrovia brand what it is today. Its second function is to help consumers find a garden center where they can find Monrovia plants. For that reason, the listings are ranked based on the quantity of plants shipped, with the understanding that the consumer will have more Monrovia plants and options to select from. I'm not included on the garden center locator, but I have bought plants from Monrovia. Why is this?Retail customers must purchase $10,000 minimum in Monrovia plants to be included in the garden center locator. It may be that you didn't purchase the minimum amount. We do this so that consumers can be sure to have a good selection of Monrovia plants at the garden center they visit. I bought a particular plant and am not showing up as an available retailer for that plant on the plant search results page. Why not?In this case, the locator is set to search for garden centers - no matter the purchase level - that brought in a particular plant within the past 90 days. We have set these criteria to better help consumers find the plants they are seeking. If your purchase was not made within the 90-day timeframe, your garden center perhaps may not be listed for that plant. |
