Description Bigger and better than standard wax begonias. Creates a lush, beautiful display in part shade beds, hanging baskets or containers. Bred for unsurpassed garden performance. Grown as a summer annual in cooler regions, and as a winter annual in hot-summer regions with mild winters. Grown as a perennial in temperate regions.
Blooms Spring to early fall; intermittently year-round in frost-free climates or as a houseplant.
Mature Size Grows to 12 to 18 in. tall and wide.

HISTORY
Lore The Begonia family (Begoniaceae), named for 17th center French Canadian Michael Begon, is native to Brazil. Wax Begonias, a group of Begonia semperflorens hybrid cultivars, are thought to have originated from the B. cucullata var Hookeri and the B. schmidtiana species.
