Description Burgundy is an all around great home-garden plum, delicious for fresh eating, cooking, drying and in jams and jellies. Reddish purple fruit with deep red flesh ripens early July but typically keeps well on the tree for several weeks. Self-fertile, Hardy, yet produces in mild climates, requiring just 250-350 winter chill hours, Deciduous.
