Crested Oriental Chain Fern

Woodwardia orientalis

SKU
04334
A very rare Japanese selection, this more compact, clumping fern forms attractive mounds of highly textured foliage. Fronds are divided or 'crested' at the tip, often forming new buds along the margins. These buds each can produce a tiny new plantlet, adding yet another beguiling dimension. Superb for the woodland or Asian inspired garden or in container on a cool, shaded patio.
