Arching, bluish-gray, glaucous-leaves, with large teeth, and a dark brown terminal spine form clump rosettes. Small offsets often sprout around the base of the plant. Upon maturity, usually 8 to 15 years, the mother plant will produce a large yellow bloom in spring which attracts birds. Makes a striking landscape specimen. Drought Tolerant.
