Glasnevin Chilean Potato Bush

Solanum crispum 'Glasnevin'

A selected form of the Potato Vine with a non-stop offering of blue, yellow-centered flowers from March until late November. Hardy and evergreen, it is a beautiful free-standing shrub, or espaliered on a wall or trellis. An excellent summer container specimen that may be easily overwintered in colder climates.

Easily grown in average, well drained soil. Chip spent flowers to encourage dense growth and continued blooming. Prune hard in late spring before growth resumes to rejuvenate from the base. Feed with a controlled-release fertilizer in spring.
