Greenii Hens and Chicks

Sempervivum tectorum subsp greenii

Eye-catching, mounding evergreen perennial boasts tight, fleshy leaves that form multiples of green rosettes, tinged pink with dark red tips. In summer, older rosettes produce thick stalks topped with clusters of small pink blooms, then die after flowering while the younger rosettes continue to multiply. Adds rich texture and color to rock gardens. Ideal in containers.
