Diminutive mounding succulent, nearly hen-and-chick-like, with tightly clustered leaves on cherry red stems, forming a mat of pyramid like rosettes. Olive-green leaves turn coppery red in full sun. Cheerful star-shaped yellow flowers appear in late winter to early spring. Useful ground cover or container plant, indoors or out. Perennial.
