Kelly's Gold Boxelder
Acer negundo 'Kelly's Gold'
A highly adaptable native that tolerates poor soils and occasional flooding. Foliage emerges golden-yellow, matures to chartreuse, and returns to yellow in fall. The pyramidal form and irregular branching works well as a landscape specimen in difficult landscapes. Kelly's Gold is a male cultivar and does not set unwanted seedlings. Deciduous.
