Description Aptly named for its deep burgundy to rich chocolate foliage that forms a bold spire. This is the darkest of its species, and the foliage holds longer on the trunk than others. Provides a richly colored accent for both container and landscape gardens. A frost-tender evergreen; treat as an annual in cold winter regions or overwinter indoors.
