Lovely form under snowfall. Makes a pretty evergreen background for contrasting foliage colors, flowering shrubs or to highlight a fall leaf show in trees and shrubs. Line them up into a windbreak or incorporate into a wider shelterbelt. Good sound barrier along busy streets.
Foliage Color Dark Green
CARE
Care Prefers slightly acidic, well-drained soils, but adaptable to most soil types; avoid wet, shady sites. Water deeply, regularly in first few growing seasons to establish an extensive root system. Once established, reduce frequency; tolerates mild drought. Fertilize before new growth begins in spring.
