Striking newly emerging foliage is bright rosy red with a golden yellow center. Foliage matures to deep burgundy followed by clusters of contrasting white flowers in summer and finally bright red fruit in fall. The older, heavier stems also display attractive peeling bark in winter. A great background shrub or informal hedge. Moderate growing to 6 to 8 ft. tall and wide. Full sun. Deciduous.
