Low mounds finely textured needle like leaves present a rich emerald color. From spring to fall it is blanketed with bright yellow flowers. A rabbit resistant native of the desert Southwest. Drought and heat resistant. Prefers well drained soils of marginal fertility. Ideal for xeriscape gardens, dryland native and wild gardens, and in conjunction with succulents. Makes a fine groundcover. Perennial. Moderate growing to 12 in. tall, 2 ft. wide.
