Can be pruned as a tall shrub or small tree. Clusters of bright violet, purple flowers in summer and fall. Dark green leaves with pale undersides. Use as a small shade tree or mass for a tall hedge. Evergreen. Grows 10 to 12 ft. high and 8 to 10 ft. wide. Full to partial sun.
