Spotted Emu Bush

Eremophila maculata var. brevifolia

Outstanding shrub for xeriscape gardens. Upright form is Australia-tough, bearing uniquely curved tubular flowers from late winter into spring. Buds are orangish yellow opening to deep pink. Dense habit and finely textured foliage make a fine foundation shrub for beds and borders with other arid zone plants. Size can be highly variable depending on water availability. Evergreen shrub. Full sun. Slow growth to 4 feet tall, 3 feet wide.
