This unique clumping succulent forms small, velvety emerald green rosettes, spreading to form a nice colony. Foliage is occasionally red-tinged. Perfect for stone wall crevices, trough gardens or as a small accent along pathways or in rock gardens. Suitable for xeriscape. Bell shaped, cream to yellowish flowers arrive in early summer.

Requires good drainage. Thrives in gravelly, loamy soil with moderate moisture. Keep on the dry side in winter. As a ground cover, space plants 6 to 8 inches apart. Control weeds until the plants have filled in. Apply a balanced slow release fertilizer in spring.
