Bright, low-growing shrub with chartreuse leaves splashed with dark green -- the most variegation we've seen on a Ceanothus. The yellow tones are brightest in warmer weather and full sun, while the green is more dominant in winter or in heavily shaded plantings. Clusters of pale blue flowers in spring. Plant in full sun in costal areas, or in light shade in hotter areas. Prefers well-drained soil. Makes an excellent container plant. Drought tolerant once established.
