    History:
    A Chinese native, found along mountain slopes, river banks, in stands and thickets, and even arid and barren forestland in the Sichuan, Xizang and NE Yunnan provinces. Asian Essence™ was found by Dan Hinkley in western Sichuan, China.
    Lore:
    The aromatic foliage and flowers of several species of Litsea contain essential oils, often used in cosmetics, soaps and holistic medicines. The fragrance of the litsea flowers has a citrus-like aroma.
