Description A garden hybrid of California native species, this low-growing, spreading shrub makes an excellent large-scale groundcover, creating a carpet that will drape over rocks or walls. Whorls of lavender-blue flowers on long spikes attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds to the garden. Quite drought-tolerant, particularly in coastal climates. Semi-evergreen.
