BREEDER INFO: Short, compact Echinacea (coneflower) with semi-double flowers. Flowers abundantly with bright red cherry red flowers. Strong and bushy, making it suitable for containers and patios. Also looks wonderful in gardens. Grows from a 4 cm plug into a flowering plant in 12-14 weeks in a 2.5 litre container. The potting medium should contain a little more potassium and phosphate + magnesium for a solid, compact plant with plenty of flowers.
Flower Color
Pink
Foliage Color
Dark Green
Companion Plants
Black-Eyed Susan (Rudbeckia); Hummingbird Mint (Agastache); Maiden Grass (Miscanthus); Phlox (Phlox); Shasta Daisy (Chrysanthemum)
Care Instructions
Requires well-drained, fertile soil. Water deeply, regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Once established, prefers regular water but tolerates periodic drought. Remove spent blooms to prolong flowering season. Prune back old foliage and apply fertilizer in early spring before new growth emerges.
