This large holly fern adds a bold and elegant look to shaded gardens. Sturdy, arching fronds with glossy dark green foliage emerge from a center crown to give a symmetrical appearance. Fronds produce small bulbils in late summer to fall. Easy to establish in the landscape, forming handsome, deer resistant clumps. Evergreen.
LIGHT: Full shade, Partial shade
WATER: Keep soil moist, but not soggy.
SIZE: Moderate growing; arching fronds reach 3 ft. tall, 4 ft. wide.
