Care Instructions
Thrives in organically rich loam; adapts to most soil types, provided they are well-drained. Water deeply, regularly in first growing season to establish root system. Once established, reduce frequency; tolerates mild drought. Remove old foliage and spent blooms for a neat appearance and to promote continued bloom.
History
This new variety is part of the EveryDaylily® series of hardy, dwarf, re-blooming Hemerocallis, and is an offspring of the widely popular Stella d'Oro daylily. Diploid. Introduced by Heemkerk in Noordwijk, The Netherlands in 2015. U.S. introduction by Ball Horticultural in 2016.
Lore
The common name for daylily comes from the flowering habit of the plant. Each bloom survives for one day, but is quickly replaced each morning by freshly opening buds.
