The original California avocado. One of the more cold tolerant varieties, withstanding temperatures as low as 27 °F. Mediums size fruits have a rich, nutty flavor. Type B flower; plant near a type A flower variety like 'Stewart' or 'Reed' for best production. Grafted on Zutano root stock. Evergreen.
