A Plants Delights Nursery, Inc. discovery from the mid-1990's, this monster fern has a Japanese painted fern appearance (Athyrium nipponicum pictum), but potentially (suspected although unconfirmed) also has Athyrium filix-femina in its parentage. A 2009 PDN introduction.
