History
Bred by Tony Coakley of Glasgow, Scotland, as the result of planned breeding program involving hand-crossing of proprietary seedlings in Scotland. The discovery of the new variety was made by Tony Coakley in August 2001 in a cultivated field of Delphiniums in Glasgow, Scotland. This resulting hybrid, a new and distinct cultivar of Delphinium plant named 'Sweet Sensation, was issued U.S. Plant Patent #20,341 in September, 2009.
