|Fantastic, dramatic color! Coppery-orange and golden-yellow flowers are held above large, dense clumps of contrasting dark bronze-green foliage. Blooms from early summer through late fall in most climates, but will bloom year-round in mild climates such as coastal southern California. A prized cut flower. Perennial.

|Grows well in enriched, well-drained soil. Needs at least a half day of sun for best foliage color. Water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Remove spent blooms promptly to encourage continuous bloom. For a neat appearance, remove old foliage before new leaves emerge. Divide clumps every 2 to 3 years in early spring.
