Description Prolific color on a compact habit! Fresh green foliage backs sprite-like, short, satiny red blooms with frilly, golden-yellow centers. Flower petals are tipped with frosty white in the summer heat. The small mounded form is perfect for smaller gardens and containers, edging walkways, or accenting cottage garden borders. An herbaceous perennial.

History The Li'l Bang™ series of compact coreopsis was developed by master hybridizer Darrell Probst. The varieties in this group bloom slightly earlier than the popular Big Bang series, with the same long bloom season, vigor and disease resistance, but are much more compact, measuring in at about half the height.
