An eye-catching structural element for partially shaded borders with a smaller mature size than traditional acanthus. Grow for the large, lustrous, oak leaf-shaped foliage alone or enjoy the tall spires of white flowers with purple bracts that are richer in color than other acanthus varieties. Very tolerant of dry shade conditions when established. A semi-evergren herbaceous perennial.

WATER: Water when top 2 inches of soil is dry.
