Description A fantastic evergreen shrub that produces stunning, rounded flower clusters in spring that blanket the glossy, dark green foliage. Each of the pink blooms features a contrasting dark reddish pink blotch. An excellent early flowering variety for use as an accent or spring specimen in borders, mass plantings, or containers.

History While many of the vast rhododendron hybrids have been produced by avid hobbyists, 'Weston's Aglo' is from a collection of rhododendrons hybridized by industry professionals, the Mezitt family of Weston Nurseries (a.k.a. the Weston Hybrids) that has been hybridizing rhododendrons for multiple generations, dating back to founder Peter J. Mezitt, of P.J.M. Rhododendron fame. 'Weston's Aglo' is of R. mucronulatum and R. dauricum parentage.
