Deep yellow centers accent the bright red petals trimmed in golden yellow, providing a fantastic show from summer through fall. History The Li'l Bang™ series of compact coreopsis was developed by master hybridizer Darrell Probst. The varieties in this group bloom slightly earlier than the popular Big Bang series, with the same long bloom season, vigor and disease resistance, but are much more compact, measuring in at about half the height.
