History
Aloe 'Safari Rose is the result of a cross of two complex hybrid aloes, which occurred within a breeding program started in 1973 by Andy Dewet at his nursery in Linbro Park, Republic of South Africa. 'Safari Rose' was selected in the Inventor's trial bed in June 2007 as a single unique plant from among the seedlings, characterized by light salmon-pink colored flowers, medium green-colored foliage tipped with greyed-red, moderately vigorous growth rate, and upright-compact growth habit. It received U.S. Plant Patent #28,002 in May, 2017. This Aloe is marketed under the Safari Aloe series by Star Roses and Plants.
