A unique variety discovered by plantsman Dan Hinkley, with an upright form that stays narrow. Small green leaves create a fine texture. Shears nicely into formal shapes. Perfect for hedges in narrower planting beds. Found at high elevations, it may be hardier than zone 7. Further testing is needed. Semi-evergreen; may remain evergreen in mild winters.

History
Collected in the Mayodia Pass in India, at an elevation of 2200 meters. Cotoneasters berry better if they are near other clones of the same species. Since Monrovia is only growing one clone, it is yet unclear if this cultivar will produce berries. The fruit collected from the wild plant was orange.
