A beautiful, loosely vase-shaped shrub with arching branches. Stunning snow white flowers in late winter and early spring are highlighted by exceptional sage green foliage. Use as a showy accent in borders and containers. A United States National Arboretum introduction. Evergreen.
Provide enriched, slightly acidic, well-drained soil. Keep roots cool with a thick layer of mulch. Water deeply, regularly in first growing season to establish extensive root system; reduce frequency once established. Apply an acid fertilizer after bloom. Prune after bloom flowering; easily kept at 6 ft. tall and wide with regular pruning.
