History
While many of the vast rhododendron hybrids have been produced by avid hobbyists, 'Weston's Aglo' is from a collection of rhododendrons hybridized by industry professionals, the Mezitt family of Weston Nurseries (a.k.a. the Weston Hybrids) that has been hybridizing rhododendrons for multiple generations, dating back to founder Peter J. Mezitt, of P.J.M. Rhododendron fame. 'Weston's Aglo' is of R. mucronulatum and R. dauricum parentage.
