A lovely mophead hydrangea with deep purple blooms with green accents in acidic soil, red with green accents in alkaline soil. This reblooming variety flowers for 3 months or more, from early summer into fall. A sturdy plant with strong stems and firm flowers. Deciduous. *Plants grown by Monrovia have been treated to have purple blooms. Bloom color can change in subsequent years depending on the soil they are planted in.*
