Description A lovely mophead hydrangea with deep purple blooms with green accents in acidic soil, red with green accents in alkaline soil. This reblooming variety flowers for 3 months or more, from early summer into fall. A sturdy plant with strong stems and firm flowers. Deciduous. *Plants grown by Monrovia have been treated to have purple blooms. Bloom color can change in subsequent years depending on the soil they are planted in.*

Care Provide enriched, well-drained soil that is moist but not soggy. Apply mulch to conserve moisture and protect in harsh winters. Reblooming; blooms on old and new wood. Deadhead spent blooms; prune dead or weak stems as needed. If desired, prune to shape or reduce size after flowering.
