Bright green, fern-like foliage takes well to pruning and is remarkably heat and drought tolerant. Semi-evergreen.
|Once established water deeply occasionally.
|Late spring to early summer
|Quickly reaches 10 to 12 ft. tall, 6 to 8 ft. wide.
|Easy Care, Waterwise, Fast Growing, Compact Form
|Asexual reproduction of plants protected by the Plant Patent Act is prohibited during the life of the patent.
|Provide enriched, well-drained soil. Water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Once established, reduce frequency; tolerates moderate drought. Fertilize before new growth begins in spring. May be pruned annually to maintain desired size.
|Due to the prevalence of these trees, the capital of South Africa, Pretoria, is known as Jacaranda city or Jakarandastad in Afrikaans
