Coffee Plant
Coffea arabica
SKU #47012
Description | Though you won't grow enough beans to brew a cup, coffee makes for an easy-care houseplant, with lovely shiny green leaves. Keep outdoors in filtered sun during the summer and overwinter indoors, or keep it inside full time near a bright window. In ideal conditions, a coffee plant may flower at about 3 to 5 years old. Inside, the fragrant white flowers need to be hand-pollinated to produce berries. This small tree can be kept at a smaller size with regular trimming. Appreciates humidity. Evergreen. |
