Description A handsome, cold hardy evergreen with attractive blue-green summer foliage that develops a maroon coloring in the winter. Its mounded, dense habit is well-suited for use in rock gardens, as a specimen plant, or massed as an easy-care ground cover.

Care Prefers moist, well-drained soils in a partially shaded site, but adaptable to poor, dry soils and sun and wind exposure. May be pruned occasionally to maintain size and a tidy appearance.
