Description The foliage is the focus of this unique Rhododendron variety. Glossy leaves are a dark reddish-purple all year long. Bell-shaped deep-red flowers hang in loose clusters late spring. The compact shape is perfect for smaller gardens. Thrives in cooler regions but benefits from protection from winter winds. A versatile landscape shrub for foundation plantings and mixed borders.
