Beautiful, very large, rosy-red crimson flowers bloom in spring. Its dense, compact habit with glossy evergreen foliage add year-round interest. A great accent plant for a dappled sun to open shade landscape setting; more sun-tolerant in cooler regions. Ideal for massing on north or east facing, sloped sites. Works well in containers. Evergreen.
